System Engineer / Project Manager (m/f/d)

Become part of our international team and work on the development and commercialization of high precision Radar sensor solutions for industrial automation and aerospace applications. Are you a skilled system engineer with project management experience and a strong background in launching embedded systems? Be our expert assuming responsibility for Kymati customer applications from specifications, system architecture, test set-up down to application qualification and optimization as well as maintenance.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead the integration of our sensor products into functional and robust customer applications by classical project management and perform project management support for internal and external development projects such as contact to customer and management concerning all project communication as well as subcontractor management, component selection and procurement tasks.
  • Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure application reliability under realistic operational conditions, including sensor testing, integration testing, system-level testing, and performance testing for qualification.
  • Identify sensor and systems issues, conduct root cause analysis, complement system design with error avoidance strategies, implement and support corrective actions to deliver high-quality applications.
  • Create clear and concise technical documentation, including application design specifications, test plans and reports as well as user guides, to facilitate effective collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in radar sensor methodologies, and proactively apply this knowledge to improve Kymati’s development processes and practices.

Your Profile:

Required Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven proficiency and work experience in the following applied technologies:
  1. Embedded system design.
  2. Application testing methodologies including statistics analysis and their practical implementation.
  3. Debugging tools and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware-related issues.
  • Experience with mechanical & electrical design tools such as CAD.
  • Experience in industrial & defence product design.

Required Soft Skills:

  • Positive work attitude, flexibility and excellent team spirit.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, breaking down complex problems into clear and actionable milestones.
  • The ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced developing environment.
  • Pragmatic, result-oriented, capable of delivering intermediate solutions promptly to facilitate the team's progress.
  • The capability to continuously improve and refine solutions as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, to effectively present technical concepts and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in order to get multiple stakeholders on the same page, create engagement and run efficient processes.
  • Business-fluent English and German are required.
