Our Operations team is looking for a working student who has the passion & knowledge in Mechanical Design, at least for 3 months (or longer if desired).

Your Responsibilities
- Evaluate existing housing concept for an industrial Radar Sensor – develop & implement a new concept.
- Create a 3D-Model plus technical drawings, including explosive drawings and setup parts lists.
- Interact with the Radar HW experts to verify that the concept meets the electrical requirements in terms of shielding and RF signal propagation.
- Define materials and coatings as well as most suitable production processes, this also includes the search for suppliers.
- Steer the prototype production and perform integration tests – focus is on later series production.
- Planning and construction of various test setups and preparation of test reports.
- Setup an assembly procedure and a quality inspection procedure.
- Support environmental tests and create appropriate test reports.
Your Profile
- Student of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Very good Knowledge in CAD-Design, Autodesk Fusion 360.
- Analytical thinking skills and systematic, structured working style.
- Flexibility, team spirit and willingness to take responsibility.
- Good communication skills and quick comprehension.
- Good English skills (verbal and written).
