Navigation Software Developer (f/m/d)

• Develop prototypes on a tight schedule, to quickly validate concepts and feasibility of new features or technologies.
• Integrate complete production-grade navigation & positioning software solutions from scratch (concept, design, implementation, test, documentation and deployment).
• In close cooperation with product managers, implement new product features and improve existing ones.
• Optimize software for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for the developed software.
• Identify areas for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices.
• Maintain and update existing software to ensure compatibility with evolving technologies and standards.
• Analyze and interpret test results for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with team members to develop outstanding products and solutions.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or a closely related field.
• Experienced in the development or testing of positioning and navigation algorithms is highly desirable.
• Proficient in C/C++ and Python, in version control as well as in Unix systems.
• Knowledgeable with embedded software development is an asset.
• Pragmatic, result-oriented, capable of delivering intermediate solutions promptly to facilitate the team's progress in multiple simultaneously running projects.
• Demonstrating close teamworking abilities and fun in collaboration on joint projects.
• Very good communication skills in English language, German proficiency is advantageous.
